ABOUT US

The Thai Trade Center (TTC) in Indonesia represents the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce, Royal Thai Government, is responsible for promoting trade and services between Thailand and Singapore.  The main responsibilities are as follows:-

 

TTC organizes and co-ordinate trade mission to Thailand, organized under the DITP fair calendar throughout the year. The mission comes in two forms, product sourcing and visiting of international trade fairs. In both format of the trade mission, there will be arrangement of business matching for the Thai manufacturers & exporters meeting with potential Indonesian importers & distributors.   This help to build networks and expand business opportunities.

 

TTC work and co-operate with local businesses such as business and trade associations, department stores, supermarket and food chains to encourage the sourcing and purchasing of Thai made products and services. We work directly with management team of these local associations and enterprises to achieve a good representation of Thai products and services to be available in Indonesia. Many of our promotional activities e.g. In-store promotions and exhibitions are geared towards this objective. TTC also welcomes individual businessman or representative of any business to work with us on any trade and products enquiry and promotion.

 

TTC also assist business matching for the Thai manufacturers & exporters and the Indonesian importers & distributors; provide general trade information; coordinate with Indnesian government agencies on issues of the economic  co-operation under the bilateral and regional forum such as STEER and ASEAN.

ABOUT THAI TRADE CENTER, JAKARTA

The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) of the Ministry of Commerce is the government agency assigned to explore ways and means of promoting Thai products and services in the global market. One major strategy is to provide Thai manufacturers and exporters opportunities to meet and negotiate with international buyers and importers with the aim of increasing trade and forming business alliances.

 

The DITP regularly organizes activities within Thailand and overseas to create opportunities for Thai manufactures and exporters to meet international importers to promote trade, to access potential markets and trade partners. These activities are organized in target markets with high purchasing power.

 

The DITP operates five export promotion centers in Thailand’s provinces to provide advice and information to help Thai companies in the targeted area in development of products and services. The provinces that DITP has a presence are known as regional offices with various location in Chiangmai, Khoonkaen, Chanthaburi, Suratthani and Hadyai. In addition, the DITP has a strong network of 53 offices around the world managing and operating under the title “Thai Trade Center”.

 

At present, in the metropolitan Bangkok, DITP offers services at two offices – namely in Nonthaburi province and another on Ratchasapisek road in Bangkok. For further information about our Head Office, it’s accessible at www.depthai.go.th.

 

Our offices are located around the world. For Indonesia, Thai Trade Center, Jakarta is our representative office that is located at the Royal Thai Embassy.
